Description/Purpose Statement Adults with neurologic disorders can be among the most difficult to assess and manage. This class provides information on assessment and planning the care of patients with neurologic disorders, such as increased intracranial pressure, spinal cord injury, cranial surgery, cerebrovascular disease, and seizures. Target Audience This class was designed for the novice critical care or telemetry nurse; however, other health care professionals are welcome to attend.

For attending this class, you are eligible to receive: | 7.5 contact hours (based on the Minnesota Board of Nursing 50 minute contact hour). Pro-rated contact hours are available when content is missed. or 6.25 contact hours (based on the WNA-CEAP 60 minute contact hour for certified nurses).
